Licensing FAQ
How does the license work?
After purchase, you receive an RSA-signed license key by email. Paste it into the CYNC admin UI (License page) and click Activate. The license is verified entirely offline — no activation server or internet connection is required.
What counts as a user?
Each Exchange Online mailbox that receives synced contacts counts as one user against your license limit. The number of source users synced from Entra ID is unlimited.
How does volume pricing work?
The base price is € 0.29/user/month, but volume discounts lower it automatically. With annual billing the price drops by € 0.02 per 100 users down to € 0.18/user/month. With monthly billing the discount is € 0.01 per 100 users down to € 0.23/user/month. The discount applies to all users, not just additional ones.
Can I change my user count later?
Yes — visit the Manage Subscription page to change your user count at any time. Stripe will automatically prorate the difference on your next invoice, and you'll receive an updated license key by email.
Is there a free version?
Yes — CYNC includes a built-in free tier for up to 10 target users with no license required. It's fully functional with no time limit. For more than 10 users, purchase a license key.
